IKEAs hemnes drawer is already too big for a dresser and it’s taking too long to be replaced, a spokesperson told Polygon.
“We are working with IKEas design team to design a smaller, more efficient solution,” the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said that the company will provide an update on the size of the hemnes by late September.
The company says it will provide additional updates as soon as they become available.
The store that handles the store, which is in the city’s historic district, has a full-time assistant manager and a full kitchen staff, according to the company’s website.
The dresser is about 5.5 inches (13 centimeters) wide and 3.5-inches (7 centimeters) deep, and it weighs around 300 pounds (185 kilograms), the spokesperson told BuzzFeed News.
The hemnes can be folded into a compact space, or can be stored in a drawer and used as a stand alone dresser, the spokesperson added.
IKEA spokesperson tells Polygon the company has been working with the company to improve its hemnes design.
IKEAS was the first to come up with the idea of a dressers compact size after the company received a request from the customer service department, the company said.
The dressers can fold into a dressable position, which allows for a full size change, the IKEa spokesperson said in a statement to BuzzFeed News on Wednesday.
IKEAS hemnes, which can be opened to reveal the dressers top drawer, have been in use since 2016, when the company launched a line of dressers, which was initially available only in stores in Europe.
“We have worked with the IKAD [Design Institute of Denmark] and the IGA [International Glass Association] to create a new design, which fits our requirements and can also be used in different sizes,” the IKO spokesperson told The Verge.
According to IKEAdvisor.com, IKEAD has a list of brands that offer IKEAN dressers for sale and also lists brands that have products for the hemmes.
