IKEA: The Swedish furniture giant has launched its own brand, which will be available in Australia on September 3.
The brand will be called Kmart Dresser, and is an updated version of its existing Kmart dresser line, which is available in all of the US and Australia.
Kmart has also launched a range of the new dresser models at home and at a local store, in the hope of creating a more “local” feel for its range.
It’s all part of the company’s efforts to make its home furnishings more affordable, and to bring back some of the nostalgia from the brand’s past.
For a range that retails for $2,699, the Kmart-branded dresser is actually cheaper than its standard counterparts.
IKEA is looking to create a more affordable and locally-focused home furnishingly experience, which it believes is key to attracting more customers.
“IKEa Dresser is an ideal choice for our current Australian customers, who are looking for a home-based solution to their home needs,” the company said in a statement.
A lot of people still like to go shopping with their kids, so we wanted to make sure that they can have the best experience at home as well.
“The dresser can be customized to suit a range, and includes a range a variety of different fabrics, including wool, cotton, and bamboo.
While the company has been known to make some pretty big changes to its home decor, its new dressers are likely to be a significant departure from the current designs.
One thing’s for sure: it’ll be a good deal cheaper than the current Kmart models.
And the company hopes that the dressers will also bring back that nostalgic feeling that people associate with the brand.
