NEW YORK — A red-faced, blonde-haired blonde-eyed girl with long brown hair, a white lace dresser and a matching red prom gown is dressed to the nines for a red-carpet debut at the 2016 red-brick party at the IKEA White Lace Dresser store on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
In a video posted on Instagram, the red-headed girl — whose name has not been released, and whose parents have not responded to ABC News’ requests for comment — is seen in the IKAD store wearing a red lace dress, a red dress with red lace, and a red prom crown.
It was a dress with the dress.
It was the dress that I wore at the party that day.
I was just so excited,” the girl, whose parents are not named in the video, said in the caption.”
I was so nervous.
I had just come out of a meeting, and I was like, ‘I don’t think this is the right outfit, I’m not wearing it right now.’
“But the store manager, the owner of the store, and my daughter told me that they love it, and that I should wear it because it is so beautiful,” she said.
“And I’m like, okay, I’ll try it on.
She’s like, you’re not supposed to wear this.”
After several tries, the girl finally wore the red dress.
