Posted September 01, 2018 08:23:19 Many women are flaunting their curves in the streets and on public transport, with some wearing flappers in the hope of gaining an audience.
Flappers have become a fashion statement for the UK in recent years, with many seeing them as an alternative to the traditional short-shorts and shorts, and a way to make their body seem more curvaceous.
In London, a number of flappers have been spotted on the city’s Victoria Embankment and in the city centre in recent weeks, according to The Times.
Flapper fashion is not limited to the UK though.
In Australia, a flapper-clad model from the U.K. was recently spotted in the middle of the night in Sydney’s CBD wearing a flapped skirt.
A group of Australian flappers were also spotted in Melbourne on Saturday night, according the Herald Sun, where they were dressed in shorts and skirts.
In the United States, a fashion magazine called Nasty Gal had a flapping model named Aimee in a dress that was reminiscent of the one worn by models in the 1980s, the New York Times reported.
