Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin have agreed on the rules of engagement and the dress for their upcoming meeting at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
The Chinese leader said on Wednesday that the two leaders would also discuss ways to strengthen cooperation in areas of security and defense, the White House said.
China and Russia have fought two wars in the last decade.
The United States has not formally invited Putin to the G-20 summit, but the White Senate did in a statement.
“Both leaders will discuss ways and means to deepen and strengthen bilateral cooperation,” it said.
